Arkanite is the Magic Council representative to be from the Rocky Peaks. He's recently returned to his homeland, albeit unhappily. Secretive and sour-tempered, he spends most of his time hiding in his tower and tending to his secret crystal garden. What? Even wizards need hobbies.

Lore[]

After spending many years away from his homeland as a member of the Magic Council, Arkanite has finally returned to the Rocky Peaks to act as their first Council representative. In terms of personality, he’s as rough as sandstone, preferring to lock himself away in his Alcove and whittle away the days doing experiments than ever talk to another living soul.

That said, Arkanite isn’t such a bad guy. Despite his sour demeanor, he has a soft spot for crystals. The bottom levels of his tower are studded with crystalline shards—some real, and some created with magic—many of which glow with soft light in hues of violet, amber, and lapis. It’s astonishingly beautiful…which is exactly why Arkanite would like to keep his crystal garden a secret. After all, he hasn’t worked this hard to establish himself as an angry old hermit just for everyone to sniff out his weakness for pretty purple stones…and he REALLY doesn’t want anyone stopping by to see them!

Trivia[]

  • Name and design inspired by the mineral arcanite.
