Monster Legends Wiki

Beasts are summons that provide Metropolitan Era, Doomed Era and Blossom Era monsters boosts to stats as well as perks in battle.

The Bestiary can be repaired at level 18, where players can unlock and level up Beasts to improve their power and effects. Each beast has a core element, and provides stronger boosts to metropolitan monsters belonging to this element.

Basics[]

To unlock a Beast, you must obtain Shards for it at the Beast Dungeons. However, the Fire One, Surtur, is yours from the minute you unlock the Bestiary!

You can upgrade Beasts by collecting and ranking up monsters of their element. It takes some time though!

Beasts can go up to level 6, as they level up, their stats improve and they gain new abilites and benefits!

You can select the Beast you want to use in the Bestiary. When you select a new Beast, the one that goes out needs to rest before you can select it again.

Leveling Up[]

Beasts are leveled up by acquiring ranked Metropolitan monsters of their element. For example, in order to level up Surtur, you must acquire ranked Fire Metropolitan monsters. Doing so will unlock the ability to level up your beast. High levels require both higher ranks, and more monsters.

Different beasts can require different amounts of monsters at each level. Each level requires a certain amount of time, but can be sped up with gems. When switching between beasts, the beast that is swapped out will also require a cooldown period, which can also be skipped with gems.

The details of what is required for each level are listed below:

Level Amount of Monsters Rank Needed Level Up Time Cooldown Time
1 0 0 0s 1m
2 1 1 2m 5m
3 2 2 1h 10m
4 2 3 6h 15m
5 3 4 12h 20m
6 4 5 24h 30m

The Beasts[]

Each Beast buffs all Metropolitan, Doomed and Blossom monsters in battle. However each beast also has an element, and they will boost the Metropolitan monsters of their element even more. As the Beasts are leveled up, they improve their stat boosts, or gain new abilities. These abilities stack on top of the stat boosts.

- Level 1 provides the initial stat boost, whilst levels 2, 4 and 5 increase that boost. These stat boosts only apply to Metropolitan and Doomsday monsters.
- Level 3 adds a torture effect that is applied to all enemies at the start of battle. The torture effects apply to all monsters.
- Level 6 provides an extra effect, either positive or negative that effects either allies or enemies depending on the effect. The level 6 effect will also be stronger against two select elements. Both positive and negative effects apply to all monsters.

Beast Dungeons[]

Some Beasts require shards to craft them. These can be obtained from the Beast Dungeons. Here, you can battle through nodes to obtain up to 500 beast shards. Autoloot can also be used to double the amount of shards you've obtained so far, up to 500 extra shards. Nodes in the dungeon can contain multiple waves, up to three fights. These must be beaten in one go. The dungeon will continue to appear once a week, until you have unlocked the beast the dungeon is for.
