Epamikrondas was so hungry for a real challenge in the arena that he jumped from universe to universe just to defeat different versions of himself. Now that he's arrived in Little Eneas's universe, he may finally meet his equal in the ring. Who will be the gladiatorial champion of the multiverse?

Lore[]

Epamikrondas was tired of fighting unworthy opponents. His daily performance in the arena had become boring, no matter how loudly the crowds cheered after each of his inevitable victories. Fewer and fewer challengers were actually a challenge anymore.

One night, as he sat hidden by his cloak in a tavern, Epamikrondas heard about a mysterious substance that allowed monsters to travel between universes. There were few things a gladiator of his fame and wealth couldn’t access, so it was no trouble for him to find some Glitcherine from a shady dealer.

But Epamikrondas’ dangerous gamble paid off. He stepped out of his Gateway straight into the arena…and directly in front of an alternate-universe version of himself! Now, that was a fight no spectator ever forgot.

When Epamikrondas recovered from the greatest fight of his life, he knew exactly what he needed to do: Travel to every universe until he had defeated each iteration of himself, thereby becoming the gladiatorial champion of the Multiverse!

Epamikrondas remains undefeated, but he’s just entered the universe of his alternate version, Little Eneas, who’s just as hungry for a fight as he used to be. Is Epamikrondas finally about to meet his equal?
