Lore[]

Warmaster Babari had never expected to become the leader of the Summitfolk. He barely knew they existed before Sorcerice contacted him, seeking information about the Thunder Warriors’ magic. Curious about this unknown faction, Babari decided to find the Summitfolk village.

It was arduous, and Babari became disoriented. He took a wrong turn and fell into a long, deep tunnel, hidden in the heavy snow.

Babari realized that he was sliding down a chute, not falling. When he reached the bottom, he was surprised to see Tyr Stormbringer waiting for him. The Warmaster had stumbled into a secret Summitfolk mountain tunnel, landing right at the feet of the very faction leader he’d hoped to meet!

Like Tyr had before him, Babari became fascinated by the fierce isolationist culture of the Summitfolk. Their philosophies spoke to him on a deep level, and he began to revere Tyr as much as the Summitfolk did.

Everyone expected the Warmaster to return to his people someday. But to their surprise, he chose to remain. Tyr, pleased, began training Babari as his second-in-command. After Tyr’s departure, the Summitfolk turned to Babari for leadership. He agreed, but only on the condition that the Summitfolk replace him with a “real” Summitfolk leader one day.

During the war with Khalorc Rageskin, Babari proved himself not only to be a loyal follower of Summitfolk traditions, but one who truly cared about the community. Because of his years of service and exemplary leadership, the other Summitfolk finally declared the Warmaster to not only be their official leader, but a true member of their tribe. They renamed him Glacial Babari to reflect his cool new status, officially declaring him one of their own.
