Kongrus started life in the Water Realms' most impoverished community. While Theton Tideborn took Kongrus under his wing long ago and made him a member of the Sea Old Guard, Kongrus still prefers patrolling in that area. He's doing what he can to make his hometown safer; plus, he just loves arresting bad guys.

Lore[]
A sworn knight of Theton Tideborn, Kongrus rose from humble origins to become a great leader in the Sea Old Guard. But unlike many monsters who are given an honorable place and plum position at court, Kongrus hasn’t put his past behind him, grateful though he is for his position.
As a matter of fact, Kongrus insists on patrolling the seediest, nastiest corners of the Water Realm, using his street smarts and hardscrabble upbringing to locate criminals and bring them to justice. There’s nothing he loves more than helping make his hometown safer, although arresting evildoers is a nice bonus.
Most of the troublemakers he brings in call him a class traitor, but Kongrus just shrugs and smiles a fishy, satisfied grin. He’s not too bothered by the accusations. “After all,” Kongrus always says, “it takes a real bottom-feeder to find treasure in the mud.”
