Trivia

• Mersnake's name is a combination of the French word "Mer" meaning Sea and the word "Snake".
• Mersnake's name could also be a combination of a Mermaid and a Snake.

• Mersnake is one of the three monsters to have replaced the three original monsters, two of which are Firesaur and Treezard. Mersnake has replaced the water monster, Turtle.
• Mersnake is one of the eight common monsters which can be bought with gold in the shop. The other seven are: Firesaur, Treezard, Rockilla, Thunder Eagle, Tyrannoking, Genie, and Light Spirit.
• At levels 1-3, it is shown to have a rather snake appearance with blue body, red eyes, short horns, short claws, and a large head compared to its body.
• At levels 4-6 it is shown to have a developed scales onits back, larger claws, longer arms, longer and larger tail and longer horns.
• At levels 7-40, it is shown to have even longer and slightly curving horns, longer and larger arms, longer tail.
