Olan saved Nishant the Great from a wild Abomination attack. Nishant wasn't just impressed with Olan's alacrity; he was doubly impressed by the way Olan was able to rearrange the Abomination's entrails with just a few quick flicks of his wrist, definitely Dark Blades material.

Lore[]
Nishant the Great never saw what hit him—the Abomination attack was fast and furious, completely out of the blue. All he knew was that when he finally opened his eyes, a hulking warrior in ornate armor was cutting the Abomination apart into frothy, bloody ribbons. It was one of the finest examples of ruthless killing Nishant had ever witnessed.
Nishant was back on his feet by the time the strange monster finished his slaughter, and at least coherent enough to appreciate the amount of death and gore the stranger had managed to create on his behalf. After a quick round of introductions, Nishant the Great offered Olan a place at his side as his personal contract killer. His techniques may not be as stealthy as most assassins’, but the way he sprays blood around is practically an art form.
