Lore

Staukrax is another minion of Mater Geneza’s, but unlike Molgun or Gorruptor, he isn’t her direct creation. He was a member of a long-dead spacefaring race who accidentally sailed through a Glitcherine Gateway and unfortunately found himself right in Geneza’s lair.

After she finished toying with Staukrax’s crew, she kept him as a kind of curiosity, eventually using him as a test subject for her experimentation. Although his existence was torturous, Staukrax found himself developing a twisted kind of loyalty towards his captor. Although he despised Geneza, her obsessive attention to her mission impressed him, and he developed a strange sort of fondness towards her. Geneza capitalized on this and manipulated Staukrax into being one of her most devoted agents.

Staukrax lived a happy brainwashed life for years, but ever since the multiverse began to destabilize, long-dormant parts of his mind have begun to wake up. He’s still under Geneza’s spell, compelled to do her bidding, but he’s starting to resent it and dream of running away. But is it even possible to escape Geneza’s web?
